"Cosy house in the centre of Monsanto with amazing views from the terrace."

When we arrived on a chilly afternoon, the heating was on for us so we were immediately cosy. Very quaint with interesting books and nicknacks. Fabulous terrace for warmer days.

Stair rug was a bit precarious.

An authentic local house up high in the village with an amazing view from the balcony, which is it's highlight. Has an eclectic collection of furniture and nick nacks from the 1970's. Not a newly renovated place, but has an interesting vibe. Clean and well maintained. The washing machine and dryer came in very handy.

The mattresses in the two bedrooms are old and unevenly soft, which wasn't comfortable. The shower is rather small.

The location was one of the absolute coolest places I’ve stayed in over 50 years of travelling! My wife and I, and our friends, were blown away by the location! It’s hard to describe how cool this place was! We really have profound regrets that we didn’t book a longer stay!
