Sunset Lodge

The lodge was like a hidden relaxation place, tucked away with spectacular views over the sea and Burgh Island. No wonder the property is called 'Sun Lodge'—it's definitely a well-chosen name. It's a nice resting place for anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing time. The terrace is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the time. We had a visit from the resident pheasant, who was also our alarm clock, stepping on the roof when it was time to get up. The lodge is well equipped with a fridge, cooker, etc. We were out walking all day, with the lodge being in an excellent position for the South West Coast Path.

We could find any faults. All perfect.

The view was fantastic, the host polite and informative, nice and private quiet place to stay.

The lodge is looking tired inside and out.

This is great location to kick back and unwind. The accomodation is light and airy. I love the style of the property. Its very private, homely, exciting and has a fantastic view.

The B roads to get to the property was very narrow,we would have been OK in our smaller car,glad we could walk to the village pub that were very friendly and welcoming plus v good food.The weather but wasn't anybodies fault.

It was far beyond our expectations.An idyllic location, very unique and romantic.You feel disconnected from the world, which is what we were looking for. The beaches in the area are beautiful and the nature is a fairytale. Very well equipped kitchen, good shower and extremely comfortable bed. Very welcoming host. Thank you for everything and we can't wait to come back !
