The reception area was lovely and clean. There was alot of things for my 7 year old to do.

The waiters at the restaurant dont seem to be trained, service is extremely slow and 9 times out of 10, they got our orders wrong. 2 nights at our chalet were wasted because of a bees nest on out patio roof. My son was too scared to go outside and we could not make use of the patio area at all. Surely someone could have informed management about the bees before we arrived. It does not take one day to build a hive. I feel like it was money wasted for 2 nights because it took so long to sort it out.

"Amazing Bush holiday"

I loved absolutely everything about our stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Chalets were clean, neat and beds were comfy. Chalets were equipped with everything needed. I absolutely loved all the animals who visited our Chalet. There were so many activities that kept the kids entertained. The pools were amazing and my favorite was the undercover heated pool. The food and cocktails were also a highlight of our stay. Thank you Sondela for the wonderful memories, definitely worth every moment. I would do it all over again.

My stay was too short and I regret not booking a longer stay!

"Sondela is our family's favourite holiday resort where we can really relax."

The friendly students working there were a breath of fresh air. We used the stoep with the braai daily. Housekeeping cleaned daily. Watching the animals and bird life made us relax and enjoy our stay.

It rained heavily upon arrival, and I wanted to buy an umbrella. None was available except one used as shop decoration. Teller told me I can buy it, but at full price, and without the cover. Afterwards I saw it was a second-hand umbrella.

This unit is brand new and very private. The unit has DSTV. Not seeing another unit was a big plus for us. We loved it.

The geyser LED display in the one bedroom shines at night.

"Lovely family escape"

Very relaxing atmosphere. Lots of wild life waking around. Well run and professional. Staff are friendly. Facilities are great for kids. Spa facility is very nice

Food at the restaurant could be better. Massage at the spa was ok.
