Hydrangea Cottages

It was a fabulous place, I truly hope i can stay again. Close to everything, even Charleston for Caving. Lovely being close to the sea! It was great having a laundry to have a catchup. Can not fault this place, it was our favorite on our west coast roadie!!

Location, comfortable bed.

Bit tired. And dark inside. No local tips or info.

Paparoa Hut was perfect, close to the river, beach & amenities, tastfully appointed with everything one would need for a restful and comfy stay. A great shower, comfy bed, super functional kitchen, and dining area made for a most enjoyable few nights. Would highly recommend it and will definitely return when passing through again.

Would have loved a view. That would have been perfect, but we would have had to request that at booking, which we did not. Next time!!

The views and surroundings were breath-taking, easy instructions on how to get inside.

The bathroom was a bit dated, but still perfectly functional.

The cottage was very tidy and comfortably furnished. We both enjoyed the ecostore bathroom products. My friend is low vision and found the cottage very accessible and floor coverings weren't slippery. We both enjoyed the windows over the beds - it was great to feel the fresh air at night and not worry about bugs.

Very good location. Easy to find.
