Luxury Chalets Pirin Golf & Country Club

The scam = sell luxury villas on booking.com and switch them for apartments upon arrival. I have stayed at Pirin Golf for many years, but we always avoid booking directly with the complex because of countless bad experiences. After making this reservation, I received no confirmation so I called reception to make sure the booking was made, and my payment had gone through, prior to travelling. They said we must go to reception to confirm the booking and get more information, which I found strange. Anyway, we took a few days off work and headed to the complex, only to be told that there's a problem with the house so they will put us in an apartment. It's interesting how they let us travel to complex prior to sharing this information - not that we had much choice given we paid in advance. We of course declined to stay in an apartment and left. A few days later - Pirin Golf refunded the money for the stay (after I called them countless times), however we lost money in travel expenses and unnecessarily took time off work. I was also left frustrated by the staff who couldn't care less. Pirin Golf is an amazing complex but AVOID staying in the hotel or booking properties directly from Pirin Golf. Also, avoid the restaurants in the complex - the only place worth eating at is the Queens Pub. After this experience, I will not be returning to Pirin Golf anytime soon.

The house is located at the very quiet part of the resort, a bit far from the central part but guests can use shuttles. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed! The area in the garden is really nice for having a meal or just enjoying the nature.

We expected more from the food that was served in the restaurants in the resort.

The property is located in the newer part of Pirin Golf and was spacious, but with a small garden.

It lacked basic everyday products such as dishwasher capsules, vacuum cleaner, and wine glasses.
