Peaceful. Clean. Loved the organic garden. Modern amenities were good .

Didn’t see much of the staff. I guess because I checked in late. But the owners were communicating about self check in on wattsapp. Which was reassuring.

Sadly, I left too early for breakfast, but the gesture was appreciated.

I will be back again but there are a couple of things that I would like to see in place. 1. The trails are wonderful, but poorly marked and the map showed a trail that petered out at the dam. 2. I would love that I could let my dogs out into the little apartment garden without my supervision. I loved the trellised plant as a division between the units - they weren't there a year ago, but it would be much better if there was a low fence at the entrance to the "garden" - perhaps something like a picket fence with a gate?

A pizza place on site, liked the food vouchers, and also the dam that we could take the dogs to, dog friendly, lovely fire place inside.

We initially booked the flat, when we were shown it, I wasn’t staying in it. So we paid almost double the price for better. We moved to boutique #4 which I felt was an extension of the staff toilets!!! Which were literally in our garden. We stay alot of places at least ten times a year for dog competitions, this I’ve got to say was my biggest disappointment🫤

I booked on booking.com, photos you showed of the chalet was not what I got. Disappointing when you think you getting a certain room and you don't get it when you arrive

The Old Mushroom Farm is a very good place to stay that my family always return to. It's one of those that you know what you're going to get. The unit was clean and spacious for our family. There was free wifi as well, inside the unit. It was great to make use of the restaurant for dinner, which was very convenient for the kids after a long day at Comrades. We'll definitely return.

Overall the Old Mushroom Farm is a great stay. The only improvement I would like to see is more activities for the kids. Whilst I understand the concept of no tv in the unit, to focus on family time, there wasn't too much activity like nearby for kids to enjoy.
