"A perfect retreat"

A lovely little, character, one room cottage in a superb location right on the edge of a bay with views over Te Kouma harbour. A perfect place for either couples or for anyone who just wants some solitude with views and comfort.

The view from the property is amazing. At high tide the water is only a few meters from the lawn and is very picturesque, and it’s so peaceful sitting in the jetty watching all the bird life.

The kitchenette and fridge is a bit small if you’re planning to prepare your own meals, but reasonably well equipped.

Loved the personal touches. Very friendly hosts. Great marmalade! Really liked the quiet location and the gardens

Hot water temperature may be set too high. We had trouble adjusting unfamiliar shower controls.
