Oystercatcher Bay Boathouse

Liz is an excellent cook - we were able to order dinner with a choice and it was well priced and delicious. Although the Tiny house is tiny it’s very well set up and comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful when the weather was bad and we needed some assistance - nothing was too hard. Although we struck poor weather for our stay we still had a delightful stay! I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Situated right on the estuary it is a superb place to view the birds going about their lives. Easy to find and Liz left some treats in the kitchen which were delicious.

Great location and view out to the gulf, very private, sunny deck. Short drive into town.

The Boathouse was absolutely perfect, peaceful and private, with lovely personal touches like homemade marmalade and shortbread. Lots of information available and superb facilities. Loved our stay and sorry to leave.

A perfect place to stay and chill. Our second visit. Clean, and comfortable and very highly recommended. A glass of wine on the patio watching the tide come in and the sun go down.

The room was incredibly clean & well appointed for our stay. The location is great with beautiful views right by the water, ~5min drive into Coromandel town. The hosts were very lovely & even provided some yummy treats which were very much appreciated. It was a lovely place to stay for a relaxing long weekend away.

Although the bed was very comfortable, we found it to be a bit small for our liking (it's a double bed). Granted we are tall people & not on the small side, but a larger bed would make this place perfect.

Beautiful views, very relaxing, lots of birds, accommodation is comfortable, very clean, good shower, good location. appreciated snacks left for us. everything was great. only suggestion would be to get bigger bed.

Bed is small and it’s difficult to have a good night sleep. I think it would be too small for most couples.
