Tree House-Midigama

The place is great. The hosts and their service is beyond words. The hosts take extreme care of you. On offer is a specially curated experience by the ever smiling and lovable Neranga and his parents. The food is a diverse Sri Lankan cuisine of ingredients which are freshly harvested for your likeness. The room is a well equipped with all modern amenities and gives you the delectable charm of a tree-house.

There is nothing to not like about this property. If you can climb a bamboo ladder, this is your property.

The place exceeeeeddddeddd my expectations. Neranga was the loveliest host and the dinner was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. I would be happy to go back just for a night at this little tree house.

Niranga is a brilliant host and his mother cooked a really delicious surprise menu for us, amazing His father gave us a very interesting workshop in cinnamon harvest!!

Our stay in the treehouse was a fantastic experience! The family is very nice and we had a tour around their garden + a phenomenal breakfast which inclouded some of their herbs and plants! They showed us how cinnamon is made an we got even little presents. It was a beautiful stay and we would recommend it anytime:)

This is one of the best and most original places we have slept in. The location is perfect (it would only help if there were some signs on the main roads so that people can find the family easily), in the forest, surrounded with trees and wildlife, it was beautiful to sleep with the sounds of nature. Also, Neranga and his family are extremely kind, welcoming and hospitable. They prepared for us a real regal feast for breakfast that one cannot see in many hotels (there was a lot, everything was delicious, we ate almost the entire table), they showed us around, their garden full of interesting plants and fruits, vegetables and spices, and they also prepared small gifts for us when we were about to leave. This was truly one of the nices places we’ve stayed at. Not to mention making a childhood dream come true – sleeping in a treehouse. PS The house has everything: WiFi, hot water, AC, fridge. We loved it all. Especially the real trees with branches that are inside the house, too.

Definitely one of the best places I have ever slept in. Wonderful family, amazing cute tree house, great organic homemade dinner and breakfast. The family was really nice, they showed us the sweet garden with its jasmine, passion fruits and cinnamon and took care of my husband who had a cold with some ayurvedic medicine. You cannot miss this while in Sri Lanka. Great experience with amazing memories!

very unique, spotlessly clean amazing host could not do enough for us , made cakes coffee and even an evening meal prepared for us , had the best time ever . would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay ,Neranga took us around his garden and explained all the fruits and vegetables they grow there . Nisha his sister even invited us to her wedding , sadly we had to leave

We planned on staying for New Year's at the Treehouse in Midigama, and ended up extending our stay for 11 days! The stay was phenomenal. The rooms were exceptionally clean, a hot water shower with deep well water, a huge spread for breakfast, and the kindest hosts. Neranga, Nisha, and their family have been so good to us. We can highly recommend staying at the Treehouse in Midigama. It is not far from the beach, where there are 2 surf spots, close to Weligama, Ahangama, and Mirissa. Can't recommend this place enough. Thank you!

Honestly, to say that I have had a fantastic experience during my stay at TreeHouse is like saying nothing. I don't even know where to start my feedback: 1 - TreeHouse - it is so cool, so unique, so beautiful. The location is just perfect, not so far from the sea, but still, a bit is hidden so you can have some relaxing time from noisy Shri Lanka. I saw so many beautiful birds, squirrels 2 – Food, it is the best breakfast I have ever had, food is amazing, too many options. And it served so beautifully! Moreover, I didn't expect this, but family made a surprise for me and cooked dinner due to NY celebration. Furthermore, you will try local food, the host will explain what it is 3 – Hospitality – host and his family are amazing, kind, and interesting people. They showed their garden (btw all the food you will have are organic and from their garden), showed how to work with cinnamon, and recommended so many things And last but not least, they made a present, something you are not expected at all, moreover they were so kind and checked how I got home from Shri Lanka. In conclusion, I do highly recommend this place, you will have an incredible experience😊
