Pandora

The accommodation was decent, modest, warm, and clean. I won't advise people with high expectations to go there, only if you go there to sleep for a few nights and have a shower, I guess, is fine. It was the cheapest accommodation in the area. The owner, on our request, called us a cab from Mavrovi Anovi (to where we arrived with bus from Skopje).

The host Pandora has a tendency uninvitingly to engage in discussions about sensitive topics such as religion, nationalities, and generalization of groups, which I didn't find particularly respectful. On the contrary, they were offensive. It concerned people with different nationalities and religions that gave her negative reviews and probably other reasons that made her express her negative hate feelings which were disturbing for us but fortunately we reacted peacefully. At times, she was intrusive asking questions such as what is your job, how old are you, and where you are from? As someone who just rents the room or a chalet for a night and wanted to have rest, all these abovementioned reasons upset me and my wife. Regarding transportation, it is difficult to reach if you don't have your own vehicle. The yard is full of things, such as materials and working tools and the smell of hens. The cab wasn't even a cab but a regular car with two people who were going somewhere. It cost us 400 denars (for 6,5 km) with no taximeter, which I consider expensive. In Skopje, the taxi is 30 denars per km with 60 denars starting tarif. The area by the Ski Center, which was the closest point of recreation, was full of garbage and street dogs that followed us everywhere. Only one restaurant nearby which was full of people, there wasn't a place to have a coffee or any kind of drink. I find the area at the south of the lake quite deserted, and if I add everything above, including the intrusive behavior and offensive conversation of the owner, 30 euro per night is not worth it. Better get yourself a tent and camping equipment and enjoy nature by yourself.

The house is very nice with a fantastic view among the pine trees and has enough space! The location is very close to the ski slope. Also the owners of the house are very nice and very helpful people.

The hosts were wonderful and helpful, the apartment was warm and cozy, perfect for what we needed. The value was excellent.

We had some trouble locating the apartment, signage/wayfinding could use improvement.

It was great for us, a couple of friends that went to ski.

The host was really the best - very kind woman, we had good conversation. The place is confortable for families or groups of friends. The location is good for many hiking areas.
