It was in a beautiful part of Victoria, offered comfort and warmth during a very few wet days whilst travelling.

The beds were lovely and warm but unstable, the rock path leading up to the chalet is hazardous.

Great property, spacious, plenty of seating, good for a larger family/group. Big kitchen, good size fridge, large dining table. Also 2 bathrooms (separate toilet). Separate room with a spa - great after a day's skiing or hiking. In summer there is parking on the road below the house. Within walking distance of the village. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable.

Not an issue for us, but the uneven, natural stone steps leading up to the property from the road could pose an issue if anyone decided to bring an elderly parent along. Especially in winter. Kids said bunk beds were a tad uncomfortable, but master bedroom bed was very good.

The location and the property are fantastic. We just had an issue with paying $650 for the night with an expectation that we wouldn't have checked in until 4pm, the cleaners explained that they were never booked to clean the room that day so it was dirty and full of rubbish from the previous tenant which made it difficult to see what we were paying for. We had to put washing into the dryers, we emptied bins and it was just not a very inviting way to arrive into what I am sure is usually a very lovely place

To expect $650 for a one night stay with a 4pm check in and a 10am check out, without the room being clean and available prior to that is excessive pricing for the middle of summer.
