Location was ok

Doesn’t match the pictures provided it’s really run down and everything needs cleaning and updating

Nice location. Very peaceful. Nice outside area. Excellent communication from host.

Disappointed that it looked different and more run down than the photos suggested upon booking. All blinds were broken, TV took some sorting to get on and then had a discoloured screen. Basics were missing like no bin in the bathroom, no bedside table on other side of double bed, no lamp in kids bedroom/living room. Had to sweep up on arrival as dog hairs all over the floor. Dirty cups and plates in the cupboards. Beds were springy and could do with toppers. Felt neglected.

Only thing was it was not as clean as it should of been in the kitchen area kitchen cupboards were not wiped out and there was a bad smell odour from the fridge, the rest of the rooms are fine.

When we arrived the entry was simple & quick. Lovely view from the decking & was spotless. Would definitely come back in the future! Thank you.

Upon our vacating we did clean the place unfortunately we couldn't do the floors as there wasn't a mop & with the weather they were a little grubby?

The location was pretty good, while you do have to walk down to appreciate the lake, once you get there it's a lovely view so the location of the park is close to the main centre and castle too.

We stayed in the December winter and unfortunately the property was very cold and we had a family of three including older people who had to really wrap up to stay warm. The main room electric heaters were on short timers and repeatedly switched off after a short period (about 20 minutes despite it saying 2 hours), including overnight, which made it difficult to stay warm and we kept getting disrupted sleep. Furthermore we showed up with the property only having 7 pounds of electricity credit in the meter and we arrived late at night with no ways to top it up. There were no manuals or clear instructions provided for the heaters or timers, so it was unclear how they were intended to be used. The main living area also struggled to retain heat and the space heaters were very dusty. Some of the kitchen equipment appeared poorly maintained, including a visibly rusted toaster and the extendable table was not working while there was dust under the sofas. General cleanliness could have been better, with pretty noticeable dust around the lamps and heaters Given the price paid and the time of year, the lack of reliable heating, clear instructions, and maintenance was disappointing.
