Cabañas y Casa Kauken

The place is amazing. The facilities are very well maintained and designed so that you can truly relax after intense days of traveling and trekking. The hot tub is a real luxury, especially after hiking all day; a pure pleasure. We would like to highlight and thank David, who cares a lot about his guests. He sends you the weather report and has great recommendations about puerto natales. Thank you so much for your helpfulness and attention to detail. We really appreciate it. After two weeks traveling around southern Chile, this was definitely the best accommodation of the trip. Thank you so much for everything.

La cantidad de agua caliente en el termo para seis personas en esquema de vacaciones es un poco justa

El desayuno muy completo, cero queja, todo muy bueno y suficiente. Se puede disfrutar del silencio, en esta epoca es muy necesario La gran vista desde la cabaña, es una postal.

el camino esta bien indicado y aunque no tiene nada qie ver con la cabaña es de regular calidad-

The Chalet at Cabañas y Casa Kauken was a beautiful and comfortable place to host our group as we explored Torres del Paine! Everything was clean & cozy and David was a great & attentive host. Would definitely stay again!

The location is absolutely beautiful and David has a really charming rustic property. The Cabanas are very clean and have a lovely shower and hot tub and sauna, again, all very clean. It’s a perfect spot to be at after a log day of hike. David is very thorough with his communication and instructions and was very helpful in providing a contact for a ride into town and booking our hike to Torres del Paine.

If you have a car, that would be very helpful with access as you need a ride into town. It is pretty remote and it doesn’t have a supermarket or restaurant nearby and the property only has a microwave to heat up food. I would have preferred if there was a no breakfast option as the breakfast offered was cereal bars, processed cheese and ham and bread, packed orange juice, packed yogurt etc. a bit like a packed school lunch. We would have preferred something a bit more substantial or fresh produce.
