MYLeft my things and the host were kind enough to help me got it back. So thankful for the host. It was a nice house with comfy facilities too. The house is impressively spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The facilities are top-notch, catering to every need and ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. Everything was well-maintained and in excellent condition, making the stay even more pleasant. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, this homestay is a fantastic choice. MYThe location was fantastic. View of the majestic Mt Kinabalu was simply breathtaking.
The place was comfortable for us ..a family of 10 but the whole place could do with some minor improvements to make it even better.
MYThere as a live-in host who live at the lower part of the house/property. Its self-check in, with instructions provided prior. Property owner do respond to inquiries, tho most times, delayed or not answering what was asked. House is built on a slope, challenging to park if parking brake is not working properly; and challenging to open/close door and unload stuffs as its on an incline. Property has basic amenities, basic cooking allowed, utensils provided (for muslim and non-muslim). Got hot shower but still cold cos water is ice cold! One of the rooms (below the stairs) is rather small. But the morning/sunrise view is FANTASTIC (if u get up early enough to catch it). View is the back of Mount Kinabalu; and there were no obstructions as the property is the 1st house; balcony got ample seats to enjoy the view; and even a BBQ pit (but need to pay/rent). Also, a friendly tom cat visited and stayed with us for a while; which was nice to have his company for a while, made himself right at home too!
Not very clean. Some of the walls have mold/mildew. Furnishing/furniture cld be newer/cleaner, esp the outside seats/chairs. The downstair/under the staircase room doesn't have a fan, can get rather warm (depending on season/weather) tho window can be easily opened. Power socket point is far frm the side table - hence need to charge/place phone on the floor and risk stepping on it at night due to the small/tight space
