"Lovely hosts, comfortable bed, but place needs an upgrade."

We did buy some cheese scones to take to a friend's place but they didn't bring them out. They must have liked the look of the scones we brought them and kept hold of them. :)

The whole chalet is in need of an update. Frayed carpet, uneven floors, jug was discolored, water was erratic ie would trickle then spurt out of the tap, shower not finished ie exposed wood.

"Beautiful location, stunning view, inviting rooms"

Attention to detail with the decor and finishings in the room. It was so inviting, from the bed layout with the towels to the homely crockery (beautifully flower themed) in the fully equipped kitchen. Really the nicest accommodation we have stayed in since being in New Zealand for 9 months.

The only thing I can put here is that the Spark wifi was erratic. Which is out of the accommodation's hands, but consider giving them a call to up their game. It was really the only slight blemish on a lovely trip.

Location is good, gardens are exceptional.

We had to keep asking for fresh towels, stayed for 4 nights and room wasn’t cleaned or bins emptied.

Everything! Chalet comfortable and very well equipped and what a delight to wake to birdsong and blossoms. Also at night the gardens are spectacular - a superb mini holiday!

Liked everything, but suggest hosts have king size bed which can split into two king singles which would be more comfortable than the sofa pull out bed. 2 friends travelling need 2 beds.

Location was fine.Gardens were nice.Bed was comfortable.

Could have been more toilet paper.Hotplate rusty.Tv remote was flat.Room was cold even with heat pump on.

"Amazing Chalet"

I love the themed cherry blossom chalet, 🌸 it all just fitted together with the name of the chalet The bed was super comfy and over all just a nice room to stay in. Also loved that it was dog friendly:)

Spacious warm and comfortable . Very helpful and friendly staff for the chalet and in the cafe. Great to be able to take my dog. Beautiful surroundings.

Nicer toiletries would have been appreciated instead of a tiny bar of soap.
