Bungalows Do Amparo

Amazing garden, lovely bungalow. A great place to relax.

Keys were under the doormat when we arrived 1:30 AM in the morning due to a delayed flight. Nice to have a small cottage/bungalow as our basecamp to explore the wet of Madeira. We left in the morning and returned from our tips and hikes after sunset. Waking up to the sounds of nature and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Steep and windy roads to get to the place - but so are most roads here on the island :-)

A bit cold in winter months

I liked a lot the placement, especially if you want to see the nord-est part of the island, the beautiful garden which i could not have enough of and the view - nice ocean view, we had every morning an amazing breakfast outside the terrace and was lile a dream -

Inside the house was a heavy smell, probably most because of the fact that on the island there is a lot of humidity, and not easy for me because i have an allergic asthma(got sick for 3 days) and the bathroom could use a bit of improvement

Quite and amazing place on the end of the "world"

A nice and quiet apartment with beautiful nature surrounding. The host was very responsive and welcoming and helped us with everything we needed.

Bathroom needs a little makeover, and it was almost impossible to balance the hot and cold water in the shower to get the optimal water temperaturę
