""Far From The Madding Crowd" with superb vistas from our mountain retreat."

The path to the gardens is lush and beautiful, behind us a levada walk, ahead the vast expanse of Atlantic Ocean with ever changing magical cloud formations. We enjoyed breakfast at the side terrace in the sun listening to bees on the jasmine and a barbecue dinner at the front of the cottage, later watching the stars.

If do you like very nice garden, extremally quiet place, fantastic view on the see during the sunset (if there are no clouds) and the sky with a Milky Way (if there are no clouds), go here. If do you like the night life, it is not a right place for you.

I would prefer much "harder mattress" in the bed for my back. Our has been saggy.
