The Carriage House 1836

Would book again.

I felt at home at the Carriage House, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house was equipped with everything, we only needed to bring food and our clothes. From silverware to dish rags, the kitchen was stocked with all that is needed to cook as if you were in your own home. There was also a table for guests with tourist information and a binder with menus for local restaurants.The owner was very nice and polite, she was available when we had any questions. She emailed me precise directions to the property the day before my trip. I was very pleased with my stay and would highly recommend the Carriage House.

Perfect location. Very clean. Very nice host. Kept in touch with us and gave us her phone number if we needed anything.

So cute and very comfortable space. Bed was very comfortable and loved the porch for morning coffee

Nothing

Small but cozy. A good size space for just a few people. Very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet area. There are a number of shops and bars/restaurants within a few minutes walking distance.

No complaints.

Friendly, responsive hostess. Nice location. Thoughtful “touch” with the snack basket on the counter! Great towels, water pressure & bathroom fan.

For light sleepers like myself, you’ll appreciate your eye mask & ear plugs. Quaint home is older & creaky, and shades are not blackout shades so lots of light as soon as the sun comes up, which is both good & bad! Second bedroom does not have a door, just a curtain.

Everything was decorated beautifully. We liked that there were two bedrooms. Parking was very close.

We would have liked ice in the freezer. Although they did let us know there would not be any.
