"Lovely, comfortable stay with incredible views"

Fantastic stay in the cottage. The cottage is so well-equipped and comfortable. The views from the deck are spectacular. The bed is comfortable and the room very big. I got great sleep while I was there as it is so quiet. Yoda is eager to greet you as are Harry and Shirley. The breakfast and snacks provided were a sweet addition and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. I can't wait to return someday!

A beautiful, comfortable place with everything you'd need and more! We enjoyed the spectacular ocean views including sunrises, sunsets and star gazing at night. Our friendly hosts, Harry and Shirley, were the best! They were very helpful with suggestions of places to go, places to eat and things to do in the area and nearby. Whitianga was our favorite place after 5 weeks of our NZ vacation. From our boat tour with snorkeling to hikes and beach walks, everything was grand. Highly recommend Whitianga and Treetops Cottage for your stay! Will definitely return!

Wonderful location and view from the balcony. The house is spacious and very well equipped. We were thankful for supplies when we arrived and great welcome by Harry.

"Perfect quiet and ambient setting during a special time visiting my terminally ill brother."

The food gift basket was a nice touch for an Airbnb, especially accommodating dietary preferences. Highlights were the great secluded location to unwind, and recharge, amidst woodland, birdlife and an Ocean view across the valley. The Hosts were friendly and helpful. Food shops only about a 6-minute drive to the CBD.

The views, peacefulness and hospitality were second to none. First visit to Whitianga and it was well worth the long drive! Close to beaches and places to explore or just relax in the treetops!
