The One - Chalet in the Cairngorms

Quiet location. Plenty of room with 2 bedrooms and nice living area with fireplace. Lovely little village and lots to do in local area. Well stocked kitchen.

Need to bring your own towels as none provided. Be aware this is a private owner and not connected to the holiday park where it is located. When we arrived, we had no hot water or heating. Followed the instructions in information booklet but nothing worked. I tried to get help at Park reception but no one there to help even though we had to check in on their website. Found out later they would not help. Managed to contact owner who was very apologetic (she was in London) and could only help with instructions on how to access the boiler and adjust settings. Not an easy job but my brother finally got it working - something I would not have been able to do. We should not have had to do this. Facilities should have been checked by cleaner before we arrived. Wi-Fi was also a problem but finally got that working with the owner's help.

Great location, woodland across the road & easy access to explore further. Accommodation was well equipped (except a coffee pot!), to be warm & comfortable when "at home".

We only had one full day as check in is from 3pm & check out by 10am. Would be nice where possible to offer an earlier check in, or later check out. Couldn't locate the recycling or rubbish facilities so took it away. Nowhere to hang wet coats or put leafy shoes inside the door.

Great location to explore the Cairngorms from. Very well appointed and equipped, spacious chalet, everything you could need. Comfortable and clean. Pleasant, quiet holiday park with walks through the forest very near by.

Only a small thing, stated provided linen but 2 days before advised towels not provided so we has to buy some. Apologies if I missed this in the original information on Booking.com.

El enclave maravilloso y el salón es muy cómodo, tuvimos que dormir en el sofá las 4 noches.

Las camas son horribles y que 2 días antes de la llegada nos avisaran que no tienen toallas, tienen prácticamente de todo y que no haya una triste toalla hoy en día es tercermundista, y podían tener un triste ventilador en verano, porque durante el día no hay quien este dentro cuando hay temperaturas por encima de 24 grados, que no es una temperatura muy habitual en la zona, pero que puede ocurrir.

Located on a quiet caravan site, within the heart of the village. Good base for travelling to Cairngorms.

Before you book your stay make sure there is gas, unfortunately we ran out of gas and had no hot water, we couldn't wash which was a big problem. The heaters didn't work, the gas cooker didn't work so we couldn't make breakfast or dinner, the stove didn't work either because it was gas-powered. The owners said I wasn't entitled to a refund for my stay, I could leave the place of rest. Embarrassing approach to guests... I paid and didn't get any help or even an answer what to do next
