the Chalet was a great place to stay. spacious and comfortable. unfloor heating controllable in each room. very comfortably sized shared area with beautiful view out onto trees where we could watch the snow falling. 10 minute walk to echoland with supermarket and other bars and restaurants. the hosts were very helpful providing free shuttle to and from the residence on arrival and departure, shuttle services to specific snow resorts and a trip to the larger supermarket for supplies. provided recommendations of restaurants and made bookings for food and taxis (as all need to be done in Japanese). Had a great time couldn't have been more impressed

water pressure in the shower was average and water did not get very hot (still very comfortable temp) there was a gap in the carpet in the main bedroom

The full glass windows! Clean and well heated floorings and spacious living room. The common toilet with designated wet and dry space was also fabulous. There were two toilets and two showers which is adequate for a group of five of us.

The beds were not comfortable, in the bunk room the mattress was hard and thin. In the normal rooms, the beds were similarly hard-ish and sheets were rough. There was also strands of hair on the bed when we first checked in.

High standard facilities. Warm and welcoming staff.

If there is recommendation for restaurant and onsan ofuro with price list as well as the supermarket, that would be perfect.

We had a fantastic time staying at Jade Chalet, team was very responsive to my questions ahead of the trip, and helpful to make dinner bookings. reception well connected before our arrival with room password and also very responsive and helpful during our stay. Chalet in general got everything we need, well equipped, very clean and tidy.

One thing is the pillow, I was unable to sleep well, would be awesome if there is one more pillow option.
