Fox Hill

Прекрасный отель, в который хочется вернуться. Зеленая территория с птичками, белками и ящерками, дети в восторге! Чистый бассейн, в котором дети резвились перед сном. Расположение для нас стало идеальным, но мы брали машину на прокат, ездили на разные пляжи и знакомились с островом.Тишина и спокойствие, после больших городов. Все очень понравилось!

This a cracker of a place! Ezani, the host, was extremely helpful and was always quick to respond to our questions. He was also very accomodating when we first arrived and asked if we changed the villas we wanted to stay in. Meanwhile, Ann his wife, cooked the most delicious food. The breakfasts were a great start to the day, and the dinner on our first evening was fabulous. We could have eaten there every night but wanted to try othe spots on the island. being in the cntre of Langkawi, it was pretty easy to get to anywhere quite quickly, made all the better that there was very reasonable car hire. Down in the restaurant area there were big tables where we could play games, and there was a pool table which provided good entertainment when it rained The room was gorgeous. A lovely four poster bed and pleanty of space, as well as lots of lovely touches. With fans & A/C it was plenty cool enough in the very hot weather. It was also lovely to have the swimming pool to cool off in.

Virtually nothing to say here. Just the water from the sink tap in the bathroom had extremely low pressure, so was challenging to wash.

The owner, Ezani, definitely stands out for his kindness and availability! Super flexible, with the help of his wife they made our staying as easy as possible! Tips on itinerary, car rental and boat bookings, everything was great, including the dinner we had at tue house, an absolute must try!! The heritage villas are nice and charming, and the pool is relaxing and clean. In term of position, Fox hill is max 20 min drive from any point in the island!

There are places you stay… and then there are places that stay with you. 🤍 Fox Hill Bungalows in Langkawi was one of those. A tiny place with only four bungalows, so it feels very private — almost like your own little retreat in the jungle. The pool area looks straight into a green jungle hill, birds everywhere, real nature all around. In the morning it feels incredibly calm. And breakfast is exactly what you want on an island — fresh, generous and made with care. What also makes the stay very easy is that you can rent a car or a scooter directly there, and book island tours as well. And surprisingly, it’s one of those rare places where everything is actually cheaper than in town, and still very easy to organize. But what truly makes the place special is the owner. From the first moment you arrive, he welcomes you with a warmth that feels completely genuine. Not like a hotel check-in, but more like someone opening their home. He helps with everything, shares advice, and you quickly feel like more than just guests. And the funny thing is — the photos online really don’t show how nice the place feels in real life. The coziness, the quiet, the atmosphere… it’s even better once you are there.

Der Host war super freundlich und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Haben jeden Morgen unser Frühstück bekommen und wir konnten uns direkt bei der Unterkunft einen Roller leihen und haben direkt Ausflugstipps bekommen. Die Lage war super ruhig und am Pool konnte man bestens entspannen. Es wurde jeden Tag geputzt und wir haben täglich frische Handtücher bekommen.

On se sent comme à la maison. La personne qui s occupe des bungalows (seulement 4) est disponible et fait son possible pour satisfaire les clients. Tres intimiste. Piscine très propre. Pret de véhicules à prix très correct. Bons petits dejeuners. Restaurant: jolies tables, belle vaisselle (très apréciable en Malaisie) et c est excellent!

Au niveau du TreeTop (bungalow en hauteur): marches assez raides à monter (pas pour personnes agées), et salle de bain à l extérieur. Mais c est le prix de l originalité et la tranquillité. Un peu excentré donc Grab un peu plus long à trouver mais nous en avons toujours trouvé et meme à 6h du matin! (reservé en avance quand meme).

Very friendly owner and beautiful grounds. Houses were charismatic (albeit not super luxurious). Food was very good. Location is good if you have a car (can rent at property for good price), but otherwise quite secluded
