Wonderful location, beautiful little cottage with everything that you might need. Gorgeous sunset hike by the ocean cliffs not far from the property. Very friendly hostess Liesje with great recommendations on things to do in the area. We will definitely be back!

The check out for self catering unit can be amended to 11 allowing guests to not have to wake up so early…

The location of the cottage is beautiful. The area is surrounded by nature and you feel isolated from the hussel and bussel even though it's a quick drive into town. All the information we needed to plan our trip was provided in the guest book, which i found very helpful. The cottage had everything we needed in terms of amenities and was a nice size for the 4 of us. It's a smart layout and well furnished. The owner was communicative and friendly and was readily available if we needed her.

The bed linen and pillows need updating and renewing. Unfortunately, it took away from the overall perceived value for money.

The location and the host were absolutely gorgeous. If you’re looking for a lovely nature retreat, this is the exact place you need to be.

Liesje the hostess was friendly and made us feel welcome. This place was a a tremendous find. My wife and I loved the remoteness of the cottage considering we were in a built-up area. It was also far enough from the main house to be private. The view of the fynbos and surrounding bush added to the experience. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The place is beautiful and quiet and the dogs are very friendly

The host never came to welcome us or to see us off even though she lives a few meters away. Load shedding - There is no back up, so be prepared to be in the dark. Water shedding - When the lights go off, water goes as well. When electricity comes back, you have to go out behind the cottage (in the rain, in the dark) and manually reset the water pump. No cleaning, you'll have to pay an extra R300 a day for cleaning. We got 2 towels each to use for 8 days and had to ask for extra toilet paper On the eve of departure, water stopped mid-shower and after we reported that and water was restored, we were told to use water 'sparingly'. Take 2 minute showers to be on the safe side. No Air-conditioning so on hot days/nights, you'll feel the heat. No microwave
