Very friendly and responsive host. Very comfortable cabin the enough room and furniture for all 4 of us to be comfortable. It was clean and bright and had amazing views.

The view! It was amazing!!! It could not have been more beautiful. The owner was very nice and helpful. If you are not a spoiled American accustomed to having amenities this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced location and don’t care about the cons that I shared this is perfect.

1. No hot water. We would get brief periods of lukewarm water in the upstairs bathroom. Most of the time it was very very cold. The bathroom downstairs didn’t have warm water at all. That drain never drained. 2. There were 5 of us and about 4 towels. We washed them but there was no dryer and due to the rain we couldn’t dry them. So two of the 5 of us just opted to wait until we got to our next location to shower with warm water and have towels. 3. When it was really cold outside (and it was one night) the wood stove didn’t keep the house warm. If you are cold natured it is not the place for you when it is cold outside. The weather in CR is unpredictable.

Fantastic view and space. It had everything.

Considering the fact that there are so many bugs everywhere it was a bit poorly cleaned. They had also left all windows opened during the day which made the place quite full of bugs. We found two bee nests inside our bedrooms.

Casa Tica Linda is an amazing place to stay. Book it if you have the chance. Best if you have a car to get to it since it's about 10 min out of Sta Elena, but the Pacific coast view is incomparable. It has everything you need to just sit back and relax. If you're going to adventure around, plan to have down time to sit and watch the view, change throughout the day. Early mornings have a spectacular view of the gulf of Nicoya and Pacific Ocean. Clouds roll in and out and city lights appear in the night both near and far. Amazing place to be!

The inner stairs connecting upstairs and downstairs are steep, so be careful. We just stayed upstairs for our time there. The downstairs bathroom is much more inviting than the upstairs, but both are super clean and lovely. Perhaps a future update to not need shower curtains, but everything is functional, clean and does what it needs to do.

The property was clean, spacious and isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

The Internet was very weak.

Great view, Good basic amenities at home. Host was good, easy check in and check out.

Beds and bedding could be better, staircase was too tiny and not sturdy. A little outskirts to the town so need a car for sure.
