Exquisite chalet on private nature reserve

The view is spectacular. It is beautifully quiet, away from hustle and bustle, loads of birdlife.

It was comfortable and clean. The location was beautiful and safe.

Nothing to dislike.

A built-in outdoor fireplace / braai would be a nice addition :)

Mel is an exceptional host, providing detailed directions, instructions for checking in, as well as weather details for the area during our stay. The most beautiful chalet in a stunning private nature reserve, with views to die for. Early morning sunrise and evening sunsets on the deck were spectacular. The chalet kitchen is very well equipped and extra bedding made for cosy evenings. An overall wonderful location!

Some electricity challenges in the neighbouring area left us without power for the last day but was beyond anyone's control. Mel communicated updates on the situation frequently, which we appreciated.

Simply everything!! Magnificent views, cottage so well equipped and very secure, lots to do in the area or do nothing and just sit on the lovely patio and stare into space..!

Pretty much nothing..

Comfortable and uniquely located cottage in the mountains of a private nature reserve. Ideal for two couples as it contains two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautifully furnished with lots of art, complete kitchen, wonderful balcony all around the cottage with precious views on the valley and surrounding mountains. Splash pool is an asset. The owner was very helpful and communicated well.

We did not mind it, but the spot is pretty remote: without your own car it is hard to get there. There are a dozen other cottages on the fenced terrain as well, but most were not occupied when we were there. We missed a map of the area and/or an overview of hiking paths, so that would be a suggestion. It was an exceptional experience to stay a few days in this beautiful place.
