We have never experienced a Host so involved from way before we even arrived at the Chalet. Mel kept us in the loop of weather changes that may have affected our car type rental, of traffic jams that could have delayed us by 2 hrs en route to the rehearsal dinner, and even entertained my odd requests about working irons, carrot peelers and sharp scissors. We got detailed written instructions on how to find the chalet and once we arrived, she checked in constantly to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We absolutely loved the 180 degree views of the valley, the dams, the bird life and fynbos from our balcony veranda, the pool with even more stunning views of the mountainous area & ever changing colour skies, and the well thought through + fully stocked up, relaxing & homey interior of the chalet.

The cabin is a haven away from all the noise and chaos of daily life. Peaceful, relaxing, views to match no other. The bird life is exquisite with plenty of mountain walks and routes to explore the surrounds. A big bonus was the WIFI which is perfect for kiddies, the odd unwanted but necessary weekday online meeting and some night time Netflix streaming. Melinda was the perfect host who treasures her beautiful property. You can feel it is a well loved home.

Really super cabin set up in the fynbos. Very comfy beds; well equipped kitchen & views for miles. Clean sparkling pool and Mel was so helpful with all instructions. Lovely weekend breakaway.

Loved the property and the private location. Host was very friendly and very well organized. We cant wait to go back and enjoy this property again
