My booking at Bellevue Guest Lodge absolutely worked for me. I wanted somewhere quiet, comfortable, safe — and suitable for easy access to the little nearby towns. And that I could return to, to read and write. It worked out perfectly. Everything I needed was there and my feeling was that thoughtfulness had gone into setting things up for guests. And while I didn't spend much time in the park the proprietors have set up adjoining the guest lodge, with all kinds of activities for children forged from wood, made by "him", a carpenter, and gardens done by "her", a keen gardener and educator, it was a really lovely extension to the lodge that I'm sure some people would appreciate and make good use of it. A special place.

The place is well kept, neat and tidy.

No visitors allowed, understandable however this needs to be phrazed better when it's being communicated to guests. There's no way to exit or enter the property freely. Once you enter the property you are watched heavily and closely (at least that's how it felt) and for the price at least offer coffee sachets we have stayed in cheaper places also self catering that have that available as a bare minimum.
