Quaint. Not OTT. Location, Farn Life

No Fireplace as advertised Cold inside, broken old Dover Welcome Stove that cannot be classified as a Fireplace. Although requested when booking was made that they lit the fire before our arrival this was not done only 1 small crate of wood was provided, we had to drive back in to town to buy more wood as even thou a Farm they did not have more wood??? Removing the Dover stove and replacing with a small Jet Master fireplace would have changed our experience totally.

Self catering

It would be great to have a covered porch and a wind break to braai at the back of the property.

This is a cottage backed onto a field of cows Not as we expected a farm cottage. It is a pretty location with lots of promise. The restaurant next door was super.

The shower is antiquated and small. The kitchen furniture needs at least a repaint or better still renewed. The windows are small and don't allow much natural light in. The light in the lounge does not encourage reading. There were only three forks so we had to share.This seems to be an old workers cottage which has not had much improvement since its original use. Sorry for all this bur we were disappointed.

It was peacefull and had everything in one place. Also only 5 minutes from the mall.

Everything was to my liking

I loved the location, right next door to a farm shop which serves excellent food and wine, also the field of cows was a treat!
