Willowbank Lodges

Pleasant location. Warm and cosy.

No significant issues. For this lodge only, the parking is a bit away from the building, but only a problem when it rained heavily. This is a back to back twin chalet (all the others are standalone), so at night, it’s easy to hear any movement next door. Sound proofing between the two halves could be better, but not a big issue. We only noticed, as the next door occupant got up a lot in the night.

Quiet. Relaxing. Just what we needed.

Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable and well equipped.

Couldn’t get the heated radiators to work in the bathrooms.

Very peaceful area. Lovely site with calming water and trees. Well maintained and well built lodges.

The lodge was lovely, everything was supplied,

Unfortunately what your not told is that there's a railway line (not that busy but still in use) withing a hundred yards from lodges , and a road behind lodges, so peace and tranquility isn't the case, the end lodge ( kingfisher) on suite bedroom mattress dips in the middle, needs replacing . Apart from these points our stay was lovely. Having stayed in thousands of hotel rooms throughout our careers, this is in no way negative review , just honest
