Tiny Escapes Cradle Valley

The cabins were very clean and felt brand new. It had everything we needed and felt super private.

The river walk albeit advertised as not being a proper track was not a track by any means and not enjoyable at all, and we are seasoned hikers.

Loved the location first and foremost. 12-15 min drive into cradle mountain national park and felt like we were completely immersed in nature, surrounded by dense forest overlooking the valley and mountains and completely isolated (couldn't see any other cabins). The cabins are clean and stocked well with enough kitchenwares to make simple meals everyday and a good fridge (no freezer). Couch and bed were comfy however we stayed in Myrtle and note that the bed is in a loft area with a sloped which does feel quite cramped for the person closest to the wall (we are small people and still had to be careful when rolling over that you don't hit the skylight/ceiling). Surprising amount of storage for such a small space which was very comfortable for 2 people to move around. Good aircon and heating options although we opened the windows and just enjoyed the breeze (flyscreens on every opening). Loved sitting on the balcony at sunset and watching the local animals come out and explore and staring up at the stars. Would recommend!

Bed loft area is quite cramped - locating the skylight directly over the bed was poor choice as it's easy to hit/potentially damage and despite the blind can be very bright at sunrise. Note Myrtle - firepit area does not overlook the valley view as the picture shows online, its hidden behind the cabin and surrounded by forest

Absolutely everything

Such a peaceful location, a well thought-out for amenities, everything you needed was there. Truly a great stay. Adequate parking available. Not suitable for wheelchair access. Okay, when we first see the size of the apartment, don’t let it throw you off. Go inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are.

Not a criticism, merely feedback. A shelf in the bathroom would be quite useful. A microwave would be incredibly useful, and some hanging space would be a real benefit. Please don't allow my comments throw you off, it’s an amazing stay

The location was great

The stairs to the very clostrophobic upstairs bed! We feel you should warn people of how difficult it is to navigate the stairs without anything to hold on to going up or down! So much so that I slept on the sofa downstairs,

Tiny Escapes provides a unique wilderness experience in a superbly designed cabin. Every comfort and convenience has been provided in a tiny space with panoramic views over the forest. Cosy, quiet and private with excellent facilities including good wifi. I loved the loft bed with skylight.

The access road is long and steep and narrow but well maintained. I was worried at first that the 2WD car would not manage but it did and I came to regard it as part of the adventure. I felt confident the staff would have been on hand to help if I had any difficulty.

Everything

I didn't see the "don't drink the water until you boil it sign" until the second day, would be better mounted above the sink. And my pet hate, the knives need sharpening but I wouldn't hold that against the amazing experience as that seems to happen everywhere I stay!

Everything was perfect, if there's one thing we'd have to mention it would be the damaged skylight that we noticed upon check-in. Despite contacting the owners via different sources we didn't get a response, so we couldn't open the window which was a shame.

fantastic location and ambience, perfect getaway feeling like you are in the wilderness with all the comfort. Loved being able to use the firepit for cooking.
