The property was so clean and well kept it was everything and more of what the pictures advertised

There was nothing I disliked

The property was spacious yet cosy and it had great facilities for people who want to enjoy their escape from the city. The view from the cottage was stunning and the garden was beautiful.

There isn't anything to complain about. A suggestion would be to have a washing machine for guests who plan to stay longer.

Everything was absolutely great. One of the best affordable holiday houses in South Africa we have seen over many years of living and vacationing here. The house was much larger than we expected and very well-equipped. Among others, there was even a small library with many interesting and funny books worth reading. The landlady was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We loved the little soap bars with real lavender and local natural shower gel and lotion that smelled so good (we found the shop and bought some for later). You know the owner cares about their guests when they bother to think about the little things like that.

No water during load shedding. Backup power needed for pumps.

Peaceful, scenic and beautiful. The cottage was incredibly equipped and very stylishly furnished. Situated very conveniently for hikes to suit all tastes, 3km and up. 15 minute drive to town for major needs but a very well stocked grocery store 5 minutes walk along the road. Caron was very helpful, left us to ourselves although always on hand for any advice or tips. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just a shame I don't live here!
