Talasnal Casa do Cascão

Adoramos a nossa estadia na Casa do Talasnal - Casa do Cascão! O que mais apreciamos foi o silêncio absoluto. Foi perfeito para descansar e fugir do ruído da cidade. As comodidades são excelentes e a limpeza estava impecável. Tudo estava perfeito! A casa oferece um refúgio de tranquilidade no meio da natureza do Talasnal. Recomendamos vivamente a quem procura paz e descanso!

Casa do Cascao was a perfect base to explore Talasnal and some of the other Schist Villages. It was kind of magical really. At the time we visited in early May there were few tourists, and even fewer staying in the village itself. We were able to hike and explore and practically have the place to ourselves. The facilities at Casa do Cascao were well thought out and comfortable. All the amenities we needed were there: a steady supply of hot water, comfortable beds, a functional kitchen and gorgeous hillside views. We enjoyed our breakfast on the lovely porch each morning. Dinis was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Great stay all around!

The only thing visitors should remember is that the village is fairly remote and doesn’t have a lot of services. This is not a problem if you plan for it (gassing up the car before arriving, buying groceries and planning to prepare at least a few meals, etc.). There are a few cafes in the village but the hours are limited.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Tolles Haus mit toller Terrasse in einem gemütlichen ruhigen Dorf. Wir sind super gut und freundlich betreut worden, z. B. Hilfe beim Tragen des Gepäcks, da man nicht mit dem Auto ans Haus fahren kann. Es waren sämtliche Gewürze, Öl, Essig für den abendlichen Salat vorhanden (die Gastronomie im hatte bereits ab 18 Uhr geschlossen). Frühstücken kann man sehr gut in der Taverne im Dorf, wenn man nichts dabei hat. Ggf. sollte man wissen, dass das Haus etwas hellhörig ist, das hat uns aber nicht gestört.

Alles war prima!!

A localização privilegiada num dos extremos da aldeia, com pouco movimento e ruído, mas ao mesmo tempo perto do acesso principal. A vista magnífica para a serra da lousa. O conforto da casa, com todas as comodidades e equipamentos necessários e uma lareira reconfortante. A simpatia e disponibilidade do Sr. Dinis. Sem dúvida, uma estadia a repetir.
