"Best stay in Portugal"

This was our first time traveling to Portugal. We spent 22 days experiencing as much of Portugal as we could. If we had to do it over again, we would spend an extra day in Talasnal to enjoy the hiking and skip something else. Both the village and house were fabulous.

"Lovely typical house in a wonderful village close to Lousã"

This is a lovely typical house in a wonderful village close to Lousã. We enjoyed a lot the comfort and all amenities of the house. The village is located on a trail leading you to the Castelo de Lousã. We strongly recommend Casa do Cascão to anyone who would like to experience a visit to this part of Portugal.

"Four blissful days in an authentic Schist house"

A beautifully restored Schist house. Comfortable furniture that matched the ambience of this lovely house There are many nice little touches and unexpected little surprises. The view from the bedroom is simply superb The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of things that are often absent (dish washer tablets, coffee capsules, etc Senhor Dinis is the perfect host and really cares about the enjoyment of his guests

"Authentic beauty with modern touches"

The accommodation is exceptional. Every effort has been made to retain the original design while ensuring all modern facilities are included (dishwasher, good internet etc). The bed was very comfortable and the area is so peaceful so sleep was no problem. The kitchen is very well appointed to allow you to cook if you want to. Restaurant options are limited outside of weekends so best to be prepared with food just in case. There is a lovely deck to sit on for meals and drinks. The views are postcard perfect.

It took a little bit of time to find. Our inability to speak Portuguese to get assistance didn’t help so I put this down as a us issue.
