Uncle Eric's Chalet

The room is spacious and quite clean, making it perfect for traveling with friends. The surrounding area is also very nice.

The location was excellent and it was an experience to stay in a 508 year old house

The interior could have had a bit more of old time aura but the renovation hasn’t kept much.

The place is cozy. They have a garden and a pingpong table as well. The cleaning was done perfectly. The owner was very nice and helpful.

The lighting at the ground floor is poor but others floor is verry good, Noise steps on the floor ,there is no shampoo .

We stayed for one night.The area was good and the owner was quite friendly and since it was early check in we could leave the suitcase inside the chalet and go to visit places.. Kitchen had all the required things to cook without any issues

Only thing there was no soap holder in the shower area

The location was good , however , everything else was not that great. The only way to communicate with the owner was through emails. We had an emergency situation where in a child got locked in the bathroom due to faulty locks and there was no one to help or contact ungently . Overall, we were disappointed with the experience and stay .

We had communicated with the owner regarding issues that needed attention such as pest control due to spiders, lack of adequate ventilation in the top level rooms( it had a paint like odor ) , skylight not having any covers to keep the sunlight from waking us in the morning, no body wash in the bathrooms etc . The lower level bathroom shower was small with just a curtain. We did receive extra towels when requested.

It was good, location wise and was very clean as well.

Didn’t have any hand towels or toiletries supply. Also there is no bedroom on the ground floor, so it wasn’t very comfortable for my grandparents to sleep as they had to climb a flight of stairs to sleep.

Very good size and capacity. Accomodation was comfortable for a short stay. The location is pretty good and there's parking nearby. Uncle Eric's team was nice and had active, good communication.

Pots, pans and kettle were old but quite usable, had to clean it before use. Rubber on shower door was loose. A couple bed covers had a few holes, but it wasn't a huge issue.
