Quirky cottage ideal for couple, with welcoming host. The view from the deck at the back of the property was fantastic, awesome place to enjoy a cold beer.

WOW the cabin is located on the property of the owners along with the other larger cabin that available the moment you enter you can feel the character of the premises come alive my wife was overcome with the feel in the location so sympathetic to its surroundings she called her Grizzly Adams Stay well appointed and all within keeping of its presentation the beauty of the painstaking detail and workmanship is of skills rarely available can't understand if this property goes unfilled 100% of the time the Hosts are the best the main house is stunning in its construction a real find defiantly recommend

Couldn't stay long enough

Ron and Sarah we're very welcoming and accommodating. They will tell you all the things that you need to keep in mind, like where the nearest town is, and things you need going to the Snowies. We also experienced a blackout, but they were quick to action to resolve the issue, and it all went well.

Ron and Sarah were extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Ron took the time to tell us lots about the local area and provide advice about our upcoming journey in the alps. The elevated view from the property of the Murray river and valley is superb, and we were able to walk and explore down to (and along) the river. The bird life is prolific and varied. The cottage decor is of an older style, but it was clean, warm, functional and very well equipped. Corryong is about 10km (8 mins) away and has a decent IGA supermarket, fuel and other services. Be aware that the Towong bridge is currently closed. Snowy Mountains Holidays is a charming place to stay on the Murray River - we loved it.
