lovely location so peaceful and out of the way, everything was clean and tidy on arrival and host was brilliant. parking was available and there were plenty of cooking utensils to cook a meal.

Loved the location and atmosphere was lovely and peaceful.

WiFi was a bit iffy however was kinda nice to be away from technology for a bit. Was in a bit of a rush to be out by 10 as were lazy and wanted a lay in.

It’s incredibly clean, well stocked with everything you need. The quality of the furnishing’s, the bedding and towels, the kitchen and the living area were very very good. Parking was easy as was the WiFi.

My wife and I are not good on our feet, we have strains & pains and are not as mobile as we’d like. So, the steps into the shepherds hut and the bed was a little difficult for us. But we got over those issues.

What can I say. "Absolutely amazing" We travel from Bristol airport many times during the year and stay in the usual suspects. This time we thought we would give something different a try. A Shepherds hut called Doris near Wedmore about 20 minutes drive from the airport. So glad we did, this was by far the best self contained accommodation we have stayed in. It was spotless with everything you need and the bed gave us the best nights sleep ever. Beautiful gardens with seating, fire pit and barbecue and ample parking We will definitely be back and not only for a pre flight night stay. Can't recommend it enough. We'll done to the owners. What a fabulous little place in a lovely , peaceful location , just what i was looking for . Doris is beautifully kitted out with everything you need , a very comfy bed and a hot shower . Not too far away from several places , ie the coast , Cheddar and the gorge , Glastonbury Town etc . There are lots of walks from the door , into Wedmore village and somerset Levels . The host Jane is very helpful and a lovely person , i would definitely stay again .

I loved everything about this place. I had great expectations because I love that kind of small hut and it was just as I except. The breakfast was so good.

Doris was well stocked with equipment comfortable and homely thought had gone into how it layout was and the breakfast was above and beyond host were very very friendly and couldn’t do enough.
