The host was lovely and very informative! The hut was so clean, warm and comfortable! Amazing shower and they even left a little treat for us in the room… which is such a nice and personal touch! We will definitely stay again it was great!

Doris is a beautiful hut, with everything you could possibly need for a stay. It's away from the main buildings and really feels like a safe and cosy hideaway in the countryside. Little touches like the homemade shortbread and bottle of Thatchers was a lovely addition. Communications from the owner were fast, friendly and answered everything I wanted to know. It's the perfect getaway, if you're looking for one night or a longer stay. We stayed when it was cold and frosty, which meant the surroundings were so pretty. And the hut was cosy and warm. Because of the weather, we didn't use the firepit, but will definitely return in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor seating area and BBQ it'll be perfect for stargazing.

the bed was a little hard for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. The gorgeous bedding and comfy pillows more than made up for it.

Doris is like a little ‘tardis’- it felt like there was so much space inside. All the little touches made it feel so special. So warm (late October stay) with the heating in there, which was welcome after a long, wet walk, and everything you could need provided! The welcome gifts of delicious shortbread and cider was a lovely touch by the very friendly host. Very quiet and felt private. Such a clean and well thought out space. Wonderful!!

There was nothing to dislike!

Everything is beautiful quality and cleverly designed for storage if you were staying for a few days. Plenty of room for everything in huge under-bed drawers, the whole depth of the bed. Supplied with everything you need including a powerful hairdryer, not a tiny travel one! Powerful shower in double sized shower enclosure. Nothing feels tiny. We had an excellent dinner in The Swan in Wedmore too. Have already recommended to friends.
