The Volmoed Trust

Beautiful location, easily accessible from Hermanus and just a stone's throw away from the town center, yet far enough to feel like a secluded retreat in nature, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Every day was a surprise waking up to see dassies, baboons and a small buck grazing on the lawn. The accommodation itself is cosy, comfortable and very neat, with all the amenities you could possibly need. I've already booked my next stay at this peaceful haven.

Beautifully kept gardens, very good beds and the peace and quiet made for a very pleasant stay.

Extremely large and spacious units for the price.

Everything I needed was there...little boxes of matches in every room and with 3 or 4 candles around to lit during load-shedding. Nothing more frustrating than to look for the matches every time you need them, so clever thinking leaving matches in each room. They supply even the blitz at the fireplace and a good supply of wood to put on the fire.
