"Over all it was a great place to stay and we'd definitely stay again."

Beautiful location, loved the spa and fire pit on the verandah.

The room was a bit cold, I don't think the heater was working properly.

"Exceptional Country Escape."

It's just what the doctor ordered for a wonderful quiet escape. Great bed, luxurious spa, everything you need in this self contained cottage. Chatted to the horses and emus, strolled the beautiful grounds and took in the fresh country air. Took an easy drive to Toodyay for a wander and a meal. Tranquillity Plus! Had a complimentary tour of the historic main house from Diane who holds a wealth of knowledge of this impressive building which dates back to 1836.

That we had to leave.

"not a pleasant stay"

There are mice in the cottage some of our groceries were nibbled through. When I went to get a teaspoon out of the draw there was a mouse in there. All the plates bowls had mouse poo in them. The first morning I nearly died when I had a shower and in there was a mouse running around I have a mouse phobia so I let out the biggest scream. I went and got the grounds keeper to remove the mouse I could hear them through the night running around in the kitchen.

"authentic stone cottage, beautiful countryside, total comfort, perfect."

beautiful cottage that was like stepping back in time. Fresh free range eggs from their own chickens were in a basket when we arrived. felt totally spoiled during our stay.
