"Good"

Late check in is charged at R250 per hour which is not really standard and considering the people who run the place live right next door sounds a bit ridiculous. Also there is absolutely no housekeeping over weekends, which with 3 little kids is a nightmare. They do not even check to see if you have any clean towels or enough toilet paper as a minimum.

"Perfect hideaway in Swellendam.."

The location is ideal, minutes from the centre of Swellendam, yet a feeling of being in the countryside. The cottages are comfortable and very well equipped. Other.guest houses could take a lesson from Dolittle. Finally, who can resist the donkeys, the sheep and the chickens!
