The Salthouse Lodges

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, the views stunning and the facilities within the lodge were first class.

Minor issue- With using the hot tub, an extra set of towels in the lodge would have been a great idea.

Beautiful location. Staff very helpful

We arrived during storm and discovered it was a distance to the restaurant from the lodge to restaurant with no transport available. We were there for 4 hrs without heat and a number of lights were not working.

The lodge was outstandingly beautiful and comfortable in every way. The view is a picture postcard.

It's a late check in and a very early check out. Therefore the amount we paid doesn't give us our value for money. I would suggest moving checkout to 11am

Scenery was amazing. Lodge itself was beautiful, clean and spacious. Very relaxing experience, no noise issues even with a few parties in lodges beside us.

Was not informed the spa was an additional 20 pounds per person which we had to pay on check out. Do not think the experience was worth this price especially for just an hour. Competitors with larger spas and more facilities offer full use of spa for any residents staying, and even offer early use before check in. The lookout restaurant service was very slow.

The view is spectacular and the property is lovely inside and out. The hot tub and picnic bench are a great addition. Main living area is very spacious and great for six people.
