"Pod in Outer Hebrides"

8.0

Host promptly dealt with any requests we had.

From the website it appeared the pod was in a more 'natural' surrounding than it was. Some basic supplies milk, etc would have been good.

Excellent location just 5 mins walk from a hotel with good food, sports centre and fast EV charger. Peaceful.

No tea, coffee or milk provided which is very unusual these days.

"FANTASTIC"

10.0

The pod was well situated, a five minute walk from the Dark Island Hotel. The pod contained everything we needed for a four night stay. There was a comprehensive folder packed with useful information relating to the pod and the area in which it is located. We will definitely return

Nothing not to like.

"We had a great time. It’s a short drive to the Co op and a short walk to the hotel."

9.0

Great location for exploring, lovely and warm with the underfloor heating and we saw lambs being born right outside our door. It’s got a great little combination oven the handles pizza, ready meals and toast which was perfect for self catering.

Bed was a little small for us but not a problem for 2 nights.

"Delightful stay in an amazing location"

9.0

A whole chalet is packed into the pod, an amazingly good use of space. The bed was extremely comfortable. The combi oven could be supplemented by a portable hob from out of the cupboard. There was good wifi. It was generally warm. The lighting was good. The day that the wind dropped it was lovely to sit outside on the picnic bench and have dinner there.

I couldn't see the thermostat for the underfloor heating, somehow it was too faint or blurred to read anything on, which meant that for the last day I couldn't adjust it to come on early for an early rise.

"Brilliant stay in a brilliant location, highly recommended for solo / couples travelling."

9.0

This was a brilliant stop for me on a longer trip within Scotland and the Outer Hebrides. With the weather being terrible, the host kindly offered to collect me from the nearby Co-op where I was getting off the bus to purchase - although in the end I decided to walk anyway the offer was very welcome. The pod itself was really good, well equipped with a bed, sofa-bed and excellent shower room as well as kitchen area. I explored the local area mainly on foot but got the bus to and from the property. Stunning location!

I'm not sure I would have wanted to stay there with more than 2 people (i.e. using the sofa-bed), and it being a sofa bed meant it wasn't the most comfortable in its daytime role as a sofa. The kitchen was well equipped but I did find it was missing a colander and washing up liquid. The worksurface area is naturally very small, so I used the table for helping to prep food.
