Everything! This home was stunning, comfortable, clean, comfortable and cosy! The little extras were very much appreciated. Loved the hot spa, fire places and overall feel of the home.

Nice House - We was in the House for 2 days all family liked the house and the cosy atmosphere, 3 kids and 2 Adults. Every thing was in very good sharp and the kitchen had what was needed for cooking.

The main road was a little close to the house

The open fireplace place and fire pit were amazing. The spa was fantastic on a cold winter's day. The house was warm and cozy. We cooked at the property most nights and it had everything we needed to cook and serve with. The whole family loved the house and would definitely recommend it and it was extremely comfortable.

The house is so thoughtfully appointed - it was so beautiful and has such lovely touches. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. You must book here

There really wasn’t anything but if I have to pick something, they didn’t have a hairdryer haha. But they more than make up for it with all of the other extras in the house.

A Warm and Wonderful Stay – We’ll Definitely Be Back! We absolutely loved our stay at The Bavarian Chalet in Ohakune! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts had thought of everything – from coffee pods and chocolates to champagne on arrival, quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and even firewood stacked and ready for both the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. The chalet itself is warm, and full of charm, with unique furnishings and creative design touches throughout. It’s such a welcoming space – the sofa in front of the fireplace practically calls you to curl up with a book or a glass of wine. There are also thoughtful extras like board games, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality time. The attention to detail really made our stay feel special, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!
