"Best accommodation in Ohakune!"

We stayed here for 3 nights on a girls' weekend and absolutely loved it. The chalet was gorgeous—super cozy and well set up—and the location was amazing, and the owner was lovely and made everything really easy. Already keen to book our next trip!

We had a fantastic stay at the Bavarian chalet. The host’s generosity was truly remarkable, and everything we needed to make our visit unforgettable was provided. One of the highlights was our pizza night, thanks to the amazing pizza oven. Our pizzas were ready in just five minutes. Highly recommended!

The unique Scandinavian and rustic design and decor was just perfect for our group. The home was cosy and very well appointed, especially the full firewood stack for the open fire, which we welcomed after a wet & cool adventure tour. Location was perfect. Highly recommend this property to anyone who seeks multiple rooms with a high level functionality & presentation. Friendly & attentive hosts.

"One night was not long enough! Great hosts, great vibes, a perfect getaway."

The location was truly special, with a flowing river just across the road and the perfect small-town ambience just at the end of the road, the amenities provided were well thought out and the perfect mix of comfort and luxury. The communication and kindness of the host was a treat, having a personable host makes all the difference in creating an environment of enjoyment. The thoughtfulness of the kid's bunkroom upstairs, the gorgeous tiling in the bathrooms, even the beautiful sleigh bed frame (of my dreams) in one of the two comfortable double rooms, every detail ensured a stay fit for any walk of life to come in and let their hair down in front of the fire. I really can't recommend this stay enough!
