Clean , quiet , tranquil Lovely woodland walks and got to hand feed a pheasant Staff very accommodating Dogs and daughter loved it too

Could of done with more loo roll and a bigger sofa Apart from that all perfect

Great location, impression from outside the lodge was great, hottub was spot on, plenty of space inside the lodge. bed was comfy,overall cleanliness was ok.

overall decoration inside the lodge was very poor, wallpaper falling off the walls (worse in main bedroom) bits of sellotape holding wallpaper on, corner of the lodge roof right next to the hot tub rotted away and large hole, not pleasant when sitting in the hot tub, Small bathroom smelt of damp, although the bed was comfy the bed is made up of plywood boards with a matress on top, (looks cheap) whole lodge in need of some TLC , the poor finish really let's this place down as it could be amazing. would not stay again.

The cleanliness of the lodge, the beds were uncomfortable, the sofas have been worn out, wallpaper peeling off walls, damp and smelly beds, food left behind sink, dust everywhere. The lodges itself just needs an update and a good clean!!

This was my third booking here, but I chose a different property this time for a larger group. We liked the hot tub and the location. Will visit again but in a different lodge.

There are a few improvements that could be made. We will stay here again but wouldn’t choose Primrose 17 again. The property is a little musty in smell. Whilst I understand this, consideration could be given to using plug in fresheners or similar. The roof is tall so the lights are far away from the living space, making it a bit dingy in the evening time. Consideration could be given to lamps in the lounge. The upstairs bedroom is not decorated to the same quality as the other two, this is a shame. The television aerial has quality issues causing disruptions to viewing/screen quality. It had to be moved/adjusted regularly to get the full picture back. The remotes didn’t work. The kitchen needs a replacement veg peeler. It was difficult to cook a Sunday roast with only one oven proof dish.
