The Annex

Great place, close to the centre of Skegness. Highly recommended.

Welcoming, comfortable and more spacious than it looks on the photos. Plus a lovely sun trap courtyard. Tina was kind enough to take my call and let me check in half an hour early. Helena was at hand to answer any questions and we had some good chats. Milk in the fridge along with tea and coffee, plus some sweet treats. Perfect for me and my young dog on his first holiday. Thanks for a great stay. X

Location near to seafront, safe parking on site, quiet residential area. Welcome upon arrival. Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits were a nice touch. Piping hot water, lots of bath sheets. Everything is there that is needed. We looked forward to returning at the end of a full day to relaxing in a comfortable environment. Thank you.

Our stay wasn't long enough!

Clean and well equipped

Skegness in February is a depressing experience. It was difficult to tell whether various attractions were closed or derelict. Significant numbers of homeless people living in makeshift accommodation (the bowling green) quite ironic given the number of empty properties. While I accept that the town (the seafront) is awaiting significant investment in the meantime it really isn’t worth visiting and as such the accommodation we stayed in (despite the relatively high standard) was quite over priced. This is unfortunate as the owners clearly pay a great deal of attention to the property which in many respects was faultless . However until the town itself receives a major uplift sad to say that it really is better to avoid.

Was greeted by the most lovely host and shown around the annex and given the keys. The property was very well equipped with a very comfy bed. It was just me and my dog and we had the most magical stay couldn’t fault anything.

Amazing little seaside find. We booked last minute and got really lucky as we were delighted with our stay at this quaint, cosy little annex, a literal stone throw away from the beach and north parade strip. Tina and Helena left no stone unturned. We had tea, biscuits, a digital thermostat, games and wifi and smart tv. They have thought of everything! It's a private gate to the annex, where we were met by our host Helena, who is so friendly and welcoming. She made our boys feel right at home. We enjoyed our short stay and hope to return for longer in the summer. Thanks again!

Nothing to mention

We cancelled our stay at the premier Inn, which we have stayed in every NYE since it opened. We decided after spending a couple of days searching to try somewhere still central to everything but with more room for our family, The Annex felt like home from home with all mod cons, it give us all the room we needed, nothing was to much trouble even for NYE, Helena even bought us a bottle off Prosecco was a lovely touch, my 14yr daughter was especially happy with the WiFi that was her priority 😊

Nothing everything was lovely will definitely be booking again
