Warthog’s Bush Lodge delivered an experience I didn’t know I needed. The silence alone is worth the trip. Chef Jacques’s food was outstanding, manager Michael was attentive, and the entire staff cared for our every need. The unit was clean and well maintained, and the outdoor shower was a lovely surprise. A couple of suggestions to elevate an already great stay: two chairs on each unit’s veranda would be a lovely touch, and a pool table or some games in the communal area would be great for families and non-hikers. Also pack an extra blanket in winter — the nights get cold! Overall, a truly special escape. Highly recommended.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The hiking trail needs better signage — no indication of distance, intensity or incline made it feel more daunting than necessary. A simple trail map would help greatly.

I loved how small the resort was. The Chef and manager could decide to serve dinner under the stars if the weather was good. The chalets are beautifully designed to maximize nature views (including outdoor shower) with maximum privacy. They lit a fire in the fire pit each evening and guests could relax around it after dinner.

Service around the pool for drinks and lunch was quite slow but the pizza was quite worth the wait.

The room was clean and smelled fresh when i arrived ,The Host Mike was amazing and was available when needed
