The Keep Eco Rooms

Quirky design, great access to the train station and a handy walk to some of the attractions. Keyless entry was very convenient. My room was great, especially the shower

There never seemed to be any staff in the building at all, and the neighbourhood did get a bit loud (a lot of men shouting and generally running wild outside - I would have felt unsafe on the street at that time). Facilities in general weren't brilliant for the price, especially the shared bathrooms, which were basic and there weren't really enough of them

Very spacious room for the price, great that there was a sink so I could brush my teeth, drink water etc without having to leave the room. I believe I stayed in the smallest possible room but it included a bunk bed, though I don't think you could fit more than 2 people total on the beds since they're quite narrow. That each room had its own code felt very safe and would be good for groups since keys won't have to be passed around. Self check in was convenient. Location was great, pretty much right next to the river and close to the train station too.

I did not see any staff on my check in day, and following that was unable to discern whether the people sitting in the outdoor booth were staff though I suppose they were. The breakfast is very expensive for what it was, on my first day the price sign was hidden behind some bowls of fruit and there was no staff present to warn or charge you so I imagine some might miss the £16 price tag. The shared shower and toilet areas were not the cleanest but there's single shower stalls a half floor up that I ended up using on the second day that was better.

Die Lage und der Stil

Dass die Warm- und Kaltwasser Drehknöpfe kaputt waren und deshalb nicht einfach zu bedienen. Trotz Reklamation habe ich keine Rückmeldung oder Reparatur oder kostenredruktion erhalten

Die Zimmer waren liebevoll gestaltet, Zugang ins Zimmer problemlos und sicher, Gemeinschaftsküche und Duschen/WC sauber. Für ein bis zwei Nächte gut. Lagerung des Gepäcks möglich.

Leider keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe. Im Familienzimmer sollte das obere Bett im Stockbett besser gesichert werden.
