Blackwater Hostel

The facilities are very good. The kitchen/lounge has everything you need and is very clean.The staff are very helpful.

Het personeel was heel aardig! De kamer die we hadden was fijn en had alles wat we nodig hadden.

Lovely energy in this hostel. Very well stocked kitchen, very warm and spacious rooms. Comfy beds!

There was a quite bit of hair on our clean bedsheets - we got them swapped with a helpful member of staff immediately. The water pressure was good but the temperature was a little temperamental.

The receptionist was so friendly and helpful and obviously loved her job and dealing with weary (and very wet) Highland Way walkers. It was a pleasure to be greeted so warmly. Your kitchen set up was great also.

Great little cozy hostel. We had a private three bunk room with its own shower and toilet. Bunks were nice and comfortable and there was space outside the room to lounge and to hang clothes to dry. The shared kitchen is really well provisioned with everything you need to cook and the location is close to a couple of pubs serving nice pub food if that's your preference.
