Food was really really good. The cafe vibe ,the scenic view makes the stay even more wonderful . Staff is very helpful and soft spoken. Highly recommend

Nothing. Maybe only the staff because they were kind to us.

Where do I even begin? Starting from the moment we entered, there's no reception desk, not even a person to help you. I understand that hostels may not have proper reception but at least there should be a dedicated person to help when you arrive. We called the hostel number as well as the owner's cellphone but there was no response. I also want you to know that they asked for 50 percent advance by calling me seperately because booking.com doesn't allow it. We had to sit in the common area which was extremely unclean and unhygienic. The property says no smoking but there were ashes everywhere and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days. Now the room. It was full of bugs. Everything in the room was damp, when we questioned they said that it's the room fresher but EVERYTHING was damp. It wasn't even raining the day we arrived. Even the blanket was dirty with a big brown patch. When we pointed pointed out the blanket being wet, they put it on a fence outside and told us to get it ourselves. Further, we were unable to sleep the entire night as we were scared the roof would collapse on us anytime. Let me explain. Above us was the dorm room and the entire night anytime someone went in or out of the room, we could hear extremely loud stomping. Initially when we heard it, we thought someone was trying to break into our room. Both my friend and I couldn't sleep because as female travellers, this is a safety struggle! About the food. It was average, the most fun part being finding a METALLIC COIL IN OUR RICE!!!! The staff didn't even bother to apologise. Overall, please do not go here. If i could give it zero stars, I would. It sucks.

Good value for money stay for backpackers.

Great staff, so welcoming and available at anytime you need help - they helped us with talking to locals about trekking. Delicious chai and good food - the view from the rooftop cafe was epic! Comfortable rooms, although a little expensive for a hostel.
